Vicks Vaporub for Toenail Fungus - Alternatives

Like I mentioned in my last post about Vicks Vaporub for Toenail Fungus, I was unable to see any significant results when using Vicks on my toenails for several weeks. Apparently some people have had success with it, but it must be a pretty low number because it never really worked for me.

I would like to provide a list of alternatives that are much more proven to work that Vicks Vaporub for toenail fungus. If you are like me, you would rather just use something that works from the beginning, rather than use a product for several weeks in the hopes of seeing significant results only to be severely disappointed.

Here are the 2 products I would always recommend over Vicks Vaporub for toenail fungus. Both of these products have a money-back guarantee, so you know they are legit:

1. Fungisil - This products comes with a 30 day money back guarantee, and it's cheaper than most other products on the market right now. I used it and started to see results VERY quickly. I ordered the "buy 2 get one free" package, and by the time I was out of the product, I was cured. I still keep a bottle around for backup in case the problem comes back. One bottle lasts a month and is $39.95, but it's only $26 per bottle if you buy 2 and get one free.

2. ZetaClear - This product is almost exactly the same with respect to active ingredients and effectiveness. Believe me, I have looked into lots of products and this one is the real deal. It costs the exact same as Fungisil for the 4 bottle package, but for the 2 bottle package it costs just a little bit more. The benefit of ZetaClear is that they have a free trial that you can take advantage of. You can actually know that it is going to work before you have to buy it. Shipping is about $2 on your free trial bottle.

So, if you are serious about getting rid of your toenail fungus, use products with a guarantee. That means it's not a good idea to use Vicks Vaporub for Toenail Fungus. It really will most likely not work for you, and you will be disappointed.

  1. Useful read, It can be treated through home remedies and probiotics as well according to the situation. You should also remember that nail fungus takes time to be cured. It is also important to avoid the things which encourage the fungus growth.

    1. A complete list of ingredients cannot be found which is also a warning sign. They say the product will work by lowering the PH of the nail and make it inhospitable to fungus, sounds fair enough. Flexitol Nail Cream Reviews

  2. I was checked for fungus but the clippings were negative. My nail on my left ring finger has come away from the bed in a diagonal line. On my right index finger, the nail has hurt for at least 20 years and never grows right, it too has grown away from the nailbed, and I've tried almost everything except the medicine pills for it. does it show illness?

  6. I am having success with Vicks, however, it is only stopping the fungus from feeding on the new nail growing in. I wont be cured until it has totally grown out and been clipped away, but I can see a big change in the two months I have been using it. Just put it on before I put my socks and shoes on in the morning before work.

  8. It's the camphor in Vicks Vapor Rub that kills fungus. So...go to your health food or vitamins store and get some oil of camphor. It does work.
